What to Expect
About 3 weeks ago I purchased Scholl’s Advanced Athlete’s Foot Cream to treat mine infection on y feet. I began applying the cream as directed twice a day to the infected areas of my feet, and within a week my symptoms began to lessen. I saw my skin begin to clear as the itching and redness started going away. After 2 weeks my symptoms and the infection seemed to be completely gone. My feet not only felt better, they look better too. After about a month however, the infections started coming back. While it is an effective and quite fast acting product I am not sure how beneficial it will be in the long run.
Keep an Eye Out
The athlete’s Foot cream from Scholl’s can cause side effects including stinging, redness and itching. Although it is rare there is the possibility for some to experience an allergic reaction, which can cause pain, swelling or rash. If any of these adverse reactions occur, symptoms do not go away or worsen you should discontinue use of the product, then consult a doctor.
Manufacturer’s Commitment
After thorough research into Scholl’s Athlete’s Foot Cream we could not find any information regarding a manufacturer’s guarantee. However, most retailers do offer some type of refund or return policy. Refer to the individual store or website for details. The majority of customer reviews found online were positive and show a high rate of success for treating athlete’s foot. A few reviewers were not impressed with the results of the product stating they did not see any change in the infection or symptoms.
The Bottom Line
Advance Athlete’s Foot Cream contains a widely used ingredient for treating fungal infections. It is relatively inexpensive, and available for purchase from many different venues. One downside to the produce is the lack of a guarantee by the manufacturer. Another concerning point was the negative reviews from customers which all complained of the cream having absolutely no effect on the infection.
